In Saturday's non-league outing, the host South Warren Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Marshall County Marshals.

The Spartans (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees enter the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Bethlehem by Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Marshals now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host McCracken County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Marshall County will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-1 league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
