Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Milton nudges Wellsboro

September 6, 2025: Milton, PA 17847

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Milton Black Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Wellsboro Hornets.

The Black Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Mustangs enter the Heartland I outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Midd-West was edged by Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Wellsboro will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Addison (Addison, NY).
