Colorado High School Softball - Alamosa bested by Cheyenne Mountain

September 6, 2025: Alamosa, CO 81101

The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks triumphed over the host Alamosa Mean Moose softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Red-Tailed Hawks play the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO).

The Mean Moose (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Thunder enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Lamar ran past Burlington (Burlington, CO), 12-0, in a non-league battle.
