With the triumph, Beatrice improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Orangemen host Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to face the Clippers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Malcolm won 9-2 in their recent league bout against Milford (Milford, NE)

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Aurora will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Haymakers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 23-7 non-league win over Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE).
