Oklahoma High School Softball - Bethel can't get by McLoud

The McLoud Redskins softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Bethel Wildcats to 2 in the Redskins non-league win on Saturday.

The Redskins now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Rock Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. McLoud will battle a Cougars team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Bethel (Shawnee, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 15-3.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Jones Longhorns (Jones, OK) in a 3A contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Bethel will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Longhorns enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 19-5 non-league win over Casady (Oklahoma City, OK).
