In Saturday's non-league test, the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), by a tally of 7-0.

Next, the Indians clash with the Highway 91 (Leigh, NE) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Ponca will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Blue River (David City, NE).

The Bears (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Omaha Central (Omaha, NE). The Eagles go into the A District test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Omaha Central was routed by Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE), 11-6, in a league bout.
