The Norris Titans triumphed over the host Byng Pirates softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Titans now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Norris will confront a Bears team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Bears record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Byng drops to 10-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Lone Grove won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wilburton (Wilburton, OK)
