The Trojans now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas County for a 6A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 9. Carrollton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 18-17 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.

The Bobcats (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Generals enter the 3A Region 7 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Heritage edged Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.
