With the triumph, Central City improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bison travel to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to face the Stars in a C District bout on Saturday, September 6. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Kearney Catholic won 10-2 in their recent league bout against Aquinas (David City, NE)

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 6. Scottsbluff will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 14-2 league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE).
