The Earlsboro Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Varnum Whippets to 3 in the Wildcats league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bowlegs for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. Earlsboro will meet a Bison squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Bison record now stands at 3-6.

The Whippets (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Strother (Seminole, OK). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Strother got by Macomb (Macomb, OK), 4-3, in a league outing.
