Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE), 5-3 in a league game.

The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE). The Falcons come into the B District match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Lincoln Northwest by Centennial (Utica, NE), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Antlers confront the Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) in a B District 3 match, on Monday, September 8. Elkhorn will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Badgers come into the match with a 5-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Hastings (Hastings, NE).
