The Frederick Golden Eagles overwhelmed the host Moffat County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) in a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Frederick will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO).

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Middle Park (Granby, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record.
