The Madison County Red Raiders softball squad (Danielsville, GA), was routed 10-7 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA)

The Wolfpack (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Evans (Evans, GA). The Knights go into the bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Evans was routed by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Monday, September 8. Madison County will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 17-1 league loss to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA).
