Nebraska High School Softball - Platteview bounces Omaha South

The Platteview Trojans overwhelmed the host Omaha South Packers softball squad by a count of 15-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Platteview will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE).

The Packers (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bison go into the A District test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Buena Vista beat Falls City (Falls City, NE), 14-8, in a non-league outing.
