In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting St. Francis Knights softball squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Westminster Wildcats.

With the triumph, St. Francis upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to play the Wolves in a 1A D-I Region 5 game on Wednesday, September 10. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 12-0. Wesleyan won 19-0 in their recent league battle against Galloway (Atlanta, GA)

With the loss, Westminster moves to 6-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Cambridge (Milton, GA) to play the Bears in a 4A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Cambridge won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA)
