In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Renaissance Phoenix volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Adams Highlanders.

The Phoenix (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, St. Mary Catholic Central beat Huron (New Boston, MI), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dexter (Dexter, MI).
