In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host H-L-V Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the AGWSR Cougars.
The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Meskwaki Settlement was nudged by BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars play the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. AGWSR will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 8-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA).
