The Mercy Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Amador Valley Dons to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Mercy will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over American (Fremont, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.
The Dons (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Wildcats enter the East Bay game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Dougherty Valley held off Granada (Livermore, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
