Indiana High School Volleyball - Avon can't get by Floyd Central

Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Avon Orioles (Avon, IN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Floyd Central improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Ballard (Louisville, KY) to face the Bruins in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 6-0. Ballard won 3-0 in their recent league test against Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY)

The Orioles now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pike for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Avon will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-4.
