In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Beckman Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Yucaipa Thunderbirds.
The Patriots (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad beat La Habra (La Habra, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Yucaipa will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Lightning go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
