Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Christian beat Dayton (Dayton, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bluejackets meet the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) in a District 38 challenge, on Monday, September 8. Nicholas County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
