The Hoopeston Cornjerkers volleyball squad (Hoopeston, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL)

With the win, Blue Ridge improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Judah Christian (Champaign, IL) to encounter the Tribe in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Tribe go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Judah Christian won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL)
