The Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Yellow Jackets (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Banning (Banning, CA). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Banning achieved victory over Entrepreneur (Highland, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Rams now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Julian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Borrego Springs will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
