Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southwestern improves its record to 1-9 on the season. The Warriors host Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 48 test on Tuesday, September 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Wayne County won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

Next, the Bears play the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Butler County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
