South Dakota High School Volleyball - St. Thomas More over Campbell County

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) and the visiting Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY), saw St. Thomas More's volleyball squad notch a victory over Campbell County by a score of 2-0.

With the win, St. Thomas More improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD) to encounter the Broncs in a A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Broncs go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Belle Fourche lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD)

The Camels now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a 4A East challenge on Friday, September 12. Campbell County will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, WY). The Indians record now stands at 3-5.
