In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sardis Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cedar Bluff Tigers.
The Lions (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Boaz (Boaz, AL). The Pirates come into the 5A Area 13 challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Boaz went down by Guntersville (Guntersville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
