Texas High School Volleyball - New Diana tips Center

September 6, 2025: Center, TX 75935

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) and the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), observed New Diana's volleyball team hold off Center by a tally of 2-1.

The Eagles (12-14) will now prepare for their test against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Union Grove was edged by West Rusk (New London, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Roughriders now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Augustine for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Center will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-6.
