With the win, Chariton improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Chargers host Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to face the Comets in a South Central test on Tuesday, September 9. The Comets go into the test with a record of 0-8. Cardinal lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA)

The Saints now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Moravia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Melcher-Dallas will meet a Mohawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 2-8.
