The Riverdale Warriors (Murfreesboro, TN) volleyball knocked off the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cookeville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Riverdale will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Cherokee drops to 3-15 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to North Paulding (Dallas, GA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a 6A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a record of 12-7. North Paulding won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pope (Marietta, GA)
