The Cardinals (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Edison (Tulsa, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Edison achieved victory over Nathan Hale (Tulsa, OK), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Buffaloes now own a 7-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muskogee for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. McAlester will encounter a Roughers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Roughers record now stands at 2-16.
