In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Linn-Mar Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Davenport North Wildcats.

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Iowa City West beat Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Davenport North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
