With the win, De La Salle improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Meteors travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Hornets go into the contest with a record of 6-9.

Next, the Golden Tigers meet the ITW David Speer Academy Pride (Chicago, IL) in a Noble Street contest, on Monday, September 8. Noble Street College Prep will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Pride enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL).
