In Saturday's non-league bout, the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) volleyball team held off the visiting Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lutcher for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9. Destrehan will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
