The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA) volleyball held off the visiting Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Riordan for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9. Lick-Wilmerding will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
The Gaels (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons enter the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Arroyo was tipped by San Rafael (San Rafael, CA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
