California High School Volleyball - Pioneer edged by Durham

The Pioneer Patriots volleyball team (Woodland, CA), was tipped 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Durham Trojans (Durham, CA)

The Trojans (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Pierce got by Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Monticello Empire League test, on Monday, September 8. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Inderkum (Sacramento, CA).
