The East Sac County Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they host West Bend-Mallard for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. East Sac County will play a Wolverines team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-0.
The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The go into the Western Valley game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute was edged by Ridge View (Holstein, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
