Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Easton Valley (Preston, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Anamosa achieved victory over Bellevue (Bellevue, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Starmont for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Easton Valley will face a Stars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Stars record now stands at 4-0.
