In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Midwest City Bombers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Elgin Owls.
Next up, the Bombers face the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Midwest City will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Racers go into the game with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Chickasha (Chickasha, OK).
The Owls (1-11) will now prepare for their game against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, MacArthur gained a win over Newcastle (Newcastle, OK), 3-0, in a non-league game.
