The Elk Grove Grenadiers volleyball squad (Elk Grove Village, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL)

The Mustangs (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Niles North got by Antioch (Antioch, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Grenadiers battle the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Elk Grove will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
