California High School Volleyball - Leroy Greene Academy over Encina

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Leroy Greene Academy Lions (Sacramento, CA) and the host Encina Bulldogs (Sacramento, CA), observed Leroy Greene Academy's volleyball team top Encina by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Franklin notched a victory over Stagg (Stockton, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Central Valley California League battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Encina will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Waves go into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA).
