The Fairfield Eagles volleyball squad (Fairfield, TX), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX)

With the win, Lindale improves its record to 18-8 on the season. The Eagles host Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX) to encounter the Bears in a 4A Region II District 15 contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 10-18. Brownsboro won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against New Diana (Diana, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Black Cats enter the contest with a 2-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rice (Rice, TX).
