California High School Volleyball - Forest Lake Christian can't get by Monterey Trail

The Monterey Trail Mustangs nudged the host Forest Lake Christian Falcons volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Monterey Trail will confront a Bruins squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tokay (Lodi, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-7.

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Victory Christian (Carmichael, CA). The Vikings enter the Central Valley California League game with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Victory Christian nipped Cornerstone Christian (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
