The Bloodhounds (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, New London lost by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Defenders meet the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Central (Maynard, IA).
