The North Cedar Knights volleyball squad (Stanwood, IA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA)

The Bloodhounds (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, New London was tipped by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alburnett for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. North Cedar will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Durant (Durant, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-6.
