Minnesota High School Volleyball - Red Lake County Central held off by Fosston

September 6, 2025: Fosston, MN 56542

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN) and the visiting Red Lake County Central Mustangs (Oklee, MN), observed Fosston's volleyball team hold off Red Lake County Central by a tally of 2-1.

The Greyhounds (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River got by Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Red Lake County Central will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN).
