Kentucky High School Volleyball - Henry County can't hold off Franklin County

September 6, 2025: New Castle, KY 40050

In Saturday's non-league match, the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) volleyball squad tipped the host Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Flyers battle the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).

With the loss, Henry County drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Carroll County (Carrollton, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a District 31 bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Carroll County lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)
