In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Palo Alto Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fremont Firebirds.

The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Silver Creek beat Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Fremont will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Westmont (Campbell, CA).
