In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Galway Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Hudson Falls Tigers.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY). The Tornadoes go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schuylerville for a Section 2 Foothills test on Thursday, September 11. Hudson Falls will face a Horses squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY). The Horses record now stands at 1-0.
