The Hedgesville Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Mars Fightin' Planets to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Park for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Hedgesville will play a Black Hawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Mars drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fightin' planets host Hampton (Allison Park, PA) to play the Talbots in a WPIAL 3A 5 outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Talbots come into the outing with a record of 2-0.
