The Wildcats now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Dodge for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Humboldt will play a Dodgers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, South Hardin drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 12-3. Dike-New Hartford won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Beckman (Dyersville, IA)
